Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults

The rite of Christian initiation is designed for adults who, after hearing the mystery of Christ proclaimed, consciously and freely seek the living God and enter the way of faith and conversion as the Holy Spirit opens their hearts. By God’s help they will be strengthened spiritually during their preparation and at the proper time will receive the sacraments fruitfully.

 

Adult Faith Formation, also known as the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA) includes Adult Baptism, First Holy Communion and Confirmation preparation. The program is a year-long program run by Deacon Rick Torres. The program preparation is the same for all adults whether you are receiving one, two or all three of the Sacraments. The process culminates with the Sacraments being received at the Easter Vigil Mass.

Please join us if you are 18 years of age or older and are looking to be Baptized or complete your Sacraments of First Holy Communion and or Confirmation.

RCIA Classes begin September 13, 2023.

Meetings take place every Wednesday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. in the Pentecost Room (upstairs in the Parish administrative building).
