Eucharistic Adoration

We have Eucharistic Adoration Tuesday morning after the 8:30 AM Mass until 10 AM. Except on holy days or holidays when we are closed.

We are looking for a one-hour commitment.

Hours needed of coverage are between 12:00 – 4:00 p.m.

If you would like to fill a permanent slot, call 714-522-2193.

Please remember that during Eucharistic Adoration,

we ask you to observe silent prayer.

“Could you not watch one hour with me?”

Matthew 26:40

St. Vincent de Paul

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul is a global Catholic organization whose members grow in spirituality by assisting the poor. At the parish

level, St. Vincent de Paul is called a conference. Like many parishes in the Diocese of Orange, St. Pius V includes such a conference.

Our purpose is to fulfill the two great commandments – love of God and love of neighbor. We seek to grow spiritually in our meetings and

through prayer and sharing of our faith. We develop a bond or community of faith with our fellow Vincentians. We seek out God’s needy

and help where we can, usually with food, toiletries, gift cards, and referrals to other agencies. Sometimes great resources are needed –

sometimes we can do no more than listen and comfort. We respond to the opportunities God presents to us. In coming closer to those in

need, you are coming closer to God.

Normally the St. Pius V conference holds two meetings a month, limited to one hour of prayer and discussion. Most of our 30 members

make home visits, though there are other ways to serve. We have suspended the meetings during the pandemic and half of our members

are taking a break from delivering. We stay in touch via emails and phone calls.

If you wish to learn more about us, leave a message for Don Westenhaver at our conference number: 714-814-1614. If you know someone

in the Buena Park area who needs help, have them call that same number and one of our members will return the call.

"My house shall be called a house of prayer for all peoples."
